Don't get your Snikers in a twist

It's a Marathon Not a Race!

The Marathon bar, a beloved chocolate treat from the 80s, was renamed Snickers in 1990. The change was made to align the UK brand with the global name used by Mars, the manufacturer. This rebranding aimed to create consistency across international markets. Despite the name change, the product itself remained the same, featuring the same recipe of nougat, peanuts, caramel, and chocolate.

It's understandable to feel nostalgic about the original name, especially when many cherished products have been altered or discontinued due to market competition and sales strategies.
